Dr Kristian Prados is a Consultant Cardiologist with extensive experience in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac care. He provides advanced procedures to diagnose and treat heart conditions.
His expertise includes:
- Coronary angiograms to assess blocked arteries
- Angioplasty with stents to restore blood flow
- Right heart studies for complex heart and lung conditions
- Implantable loop recorders for long-term rhythm monitoring
Dr Prados also offers a full range of non-invasive cardiac tests such as:

Dr Prados completed his medical training at the University of Sydney and holds Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He undertook his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney and has been practising as a consultant cardiologist since 2010. He established the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Port Macquarie Base Hospital and led the service as Director until 2023. He is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and actively involved in teaching medical students and cardiology trainees.
