Dr Choy is an experienced Specialist Plastic Surgeon and General Surgeon, trained in Australia.
He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 and pursued postgraduate studies at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, receiving his first fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2004. That year, he also completed subspecialty training in breast surgery and surgical oncology, and advanced training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, earning a National Breast Cancer Foundation scholarship for his Master of Surgery thesis on patient preferences in multidisciplinary breast care.
Dr Choy completed his Plastic Surgery training in Sydney, focusing on Breast Reconstructive Surgery, and earned his second FRACS in Plastic Surgery in 2010. He completed a Fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, with a focus on reconstructive and cosmetic breast plastic surgery and body contouring, followed by an aesthetic facial plastic surgery Fellowship in Sydney, in surgical and non-surgical facial procedures.
Dr Choy's expertise includes surgery of the face, breast, body, and skin. He provides plastic surgery services to the Coffs Coast region, focusing on reconstructive and breast surgery.
