Dr Salindera was born and raised in Coffs Harbour and has a longstanding interest in both rural General surgery and Breast & Oncoplastic surgery. She believes in the need to deliver holistic and sustainable surgical care to patients in their home communities.
Dr Salindera holds Fellowships in breast surgery & reconstruction as well as melanoma and surgical oncology from North Shore Hospital, Melanoma Institute Australia & Westmead Breast Cancer Institute. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney and Masters in Surgery from Oxford University.
Her research interests include breast cancer and quality improvement. She is the Supervisor of Training for Surgical Education & Training Program at Coffs Harbour Health Campus and also course coordinator for the Leadership & Professionalism program at the University of Sydney. Other interests include advocacy and quality improvement, holding multiple roles within the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a member of the Mid North Coast LHD Governing Board.
Dr Salindera provides outpatient consultations from the Coffs Harbour Breast Clinic at 15 Duke Street, Coffs Harbour. She accepts referrals for both public and privately insured patients for breast surgery, melanoma and endoscopy.
