Dr Henderson is an Cardiologist who graduated from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours in Medicine in 1999. After completing Advanced Training in Cardiology at Gosford and Royal North Shore Hospitals, he was awarded the prestigious Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital, the leading Cardiac Intervention centre in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Henderson has performed thousands of coronary angiograms and coronary artery stenting procedures.
He has published widely in the field of Interventional Cardiology and presented at Cardiology conferences.
His particular areas of interest and expertise are the diagnosis and management of chest pain, myocardial infarction, coronary angiography and the insertion of cardiac stents.
As well a being a Consultant Cardiologist at Baringa, Dr Henderson is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Coffs Harbour Health Campus and St Vincents Hospital, Darlinghurst and sees patients privately at Mid North Coast Cardiac Services
