 Pre Admission
On arrival to Baringa Private Hospital you are asked to check
in at the Front Reception Desk to welcome you and confirm your
necessary personal details.
Please bring your:
- Medicare Card
- Health Fund documentation
- Pension, pharmaceutical benefits, concession or Veterans
Affairs card
- All relevant Compensation details of your treatment,
if Workers Compensation or Third Party
- Referral letters or relevant x-rays
- A supply of medications you are currently taking
The admission staff will ask you to sign forms necessary to claim
from your health fund. If you are unsure about you fund coverage
the admission staff will be happy to help. To be sure your stay
is as comfortable as possible you should bring the following
- Night attire, dressing gown slippers
- Loose comfortable clothing to wear when you go home
- Personal toiletries (toothpaste & toothbrush, soap, deodorant,
hair brush/comb & tissues)
- Glasses, hearing aids or other prosthetic aids
- A book/magazine to keep you occupied when you are
feeling better
To ensure a worry free stay with us we strongly recommend that
jewellery and other valuables be left at home, and that you limit
the cash you bring with you. Our provision for safe custody is
limited and we are unable to take responsibility for items brought
in with you.
